The object of my creative research is mental background experience that creates and transforms physical reality. In this space, a new nonverbal level is being organised and constant retranslation
of received experience.
I establish connections between different objects, which have lost their function: I break habitual connections and build new interactions. I called it «Mental recycling» . It is the process in which psychological experience is recycled with the help of objects of physical reality , it demonstrates an endless exchange process with the surrounding.
My research started with my incapability to transform feelings into words and vice versa. By combining different materials, by making connections between fragmented objects and controlling inner frustration I create my language
of feelling.
I see wasted objects and give them new essence.
I explore the space, which never replies, a lost dialogue.
I wonder what happened at the very moment when connection with the surrounding was broken. What fills this space?
In the project Defence Mechanisms I work with used package material, which previously served to protect fragile items. For me personally, it became a metaphor for defence mechanisms, which our psychic uses to save its integrity and stability.
In the work Forced Archeology I shape the rejected emotional language into spatial objects as if they are archeological findings.
Abrasive Textile series are my childhood memories of ornamental carpet placed on the wall that used to be an imaginary screen for me.
Names of my pain - my emotional retrospective of 2022, in which I am exploring pain at this very moment of time, capturing it and placing it in the image. Objects that can suddenly become endowed with painful meanings, give signals of pain, become impulses for spontaneous image. Each pain is dated and has its own place in the image calendar.
